Winterlicious celebrates 10 years

Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the Economic Development Committee, together with Joan Monfaredi, Executive Chef of Annona Restaurant and Ildiko Siklodi, Manager of Network Marketing, American Express of Canada will launch the 10th edition of Winterlicious with samples from Annona's Winterlicious menu.

Time: 1:30 p.m. Remarks will be followed by a photo opportunity and menu sampling from Annona's Winterlicious menu.

The 2012 edition of Winterlicious presented by American Express offers diners unique value-priced three-course prix-fixe meals at 175 of Toronto's top restaurants plus 11 one-of-a-kind, ticketed Culinary Events.

The Winterlicious and Summerlicious programs are produced by the City of Toronto. In the years since the programs' inception, participating restaurants have served 3.2 million meals. This has generated more than $140 million in economic activity for the local restaurant industry.
